Refugees Off PNG & Nauru - ARAN
What this campaign seeks
End Australia's offshore processing regime and relocate the refugees and people seeking asylum still held under it on Manus Island (Papua New Guinea) and Nauru to permanent safety in Australia or a third country such as New Zealand or the United States. Close the remaining offshore facilities and alternative places of detention (APODs).
How it works
National days of action, a network of coordinated local refugee action groups, petitions, and sustained pressure on federal MPs to end offshore processing and mandatory detention of people who arrived by boat.
Where it stands
Ongoing (launched 2023)
