Four places the record contradicts itself
Where the sources disagree.
Two records say different things about the same thing. Most systems pick one and hide the other, which is how a single source’s error becomes everybody’s certainty.
Nothing here is resolved. What is named instead is the kind of disagreement, because three of these four are not errors at all. They are the same question being asked in two different ways, and knowing which is worth more than either number.

Neither list is the answer. Ours holds 450 the register does not support; the register holds 715 we miss, 193 of them certified. Add from the register, never strip on its silence.
Why it matters
We classify Aboriginal identity as a data field by our own process, which is the finding of our own Indigenous Data Sovereignty assessment. An external certified register sits in the same database.

These must not be added together
Both are correct and they answer different questions. The gap is not an error, it is churn. Our figure understates crowding and must never be compared to capacity.
Why it matters
The same agency publishes both. A reader who takes the lower one and compares it to bed numbers concludes the watch houses are not full. Southport ran 85 against 69 beds officially; the feed said 62.

The first two are the same money on different bases. The third was ours and was wrong. Never compare an annual line to a multi-year total.
Why it matters
This error was made twice in one day, the second time while correcting the first. Adding one year to four looks like arithmetic rather than a category mistake, which is why it survives review.

A reader comparing the two would think somebody miscounted. The gap is the point: twelve or more communities are doing this without Commonwealth funding.

A joined dataset without this page is a machine for laundering one source’s error into everybody else’s certainty. Two of the four above are our own, and they stay here for the same reason: a register that only catalogues other people’s mistakes is a complaints page.
